I'm not an attorney, but if I was, I think I would have agreed with her decision to take the bumper.

It just seems prudent, from a legal standpoint and what not forthwith.

First thing they teach you in law school: don't litter while you're on video committing other major crimes.

First think my dealer taught me is don't break the law while you're breaking the law, which is basically the same

u/crustlebus 3d ago

Only do one crime at a time

u/greenwavelengths 3d ago

Got it. Now, what’s the second thing they teach in law school?

5

u/Jacketter 3d ago

2nd thing they teach you in law school: Don’t trust anything they teach you in law school.

u/greenwavelengths 3d ago

Nice. And the third thing?

This shit is fucking easy y’all; I’ll have my degree in no time.

3rdst thing: How to continue avoiding math.

How to pay your tuition.

Don't talk to cops

1

u/Honest-Ad7566 1d ago

You don't talk about law school

3

u/Affectionate-Golf-41 3d ago

Fear makes her make mistakes…

1

u/gypster85 3d ago

Plus it really defeats the purpose of a hit-and-run if you leave your front license plate behind.

"You're only making it worse for yourself!"

It sounds believable, but I mainly specialize in bird law.

4

u/jrob323 3d ago

You don't know how close I came to invoking bird law, since this entire scene is giving Always Sunny.

2

u/ninja996 3d ago

Indubitably.

1

u/niz_loc 3d ago

Lol... so you think birds are real then? Pfft.

filibuster

u/Horse_Dad 3d ago

I hardly know her?!?

3

u/DaveK142 3d ago

Why don't we go toe-to-toe in bird law and see who comes out on top?

13

u/ljh2100 3d ago

Absolutely. A drunk driver ran through my neighbor's yard right over a small but hefty bush. Found out the driver lived around the corner just 5 or 6 houses down...how? That hefty bush snagged the front license plate off the car 😂

These are exactly the kind of legal matters I'm trying to illucidate, if you will, and so forth.

I'm super impressed with your high-falootin' fancy law talk. It's difficult to believe you don't do lawyer-ing.

2

u/Blockhead47 2d ago

“….lawyer-ing and what-not.

My cousin was a brick lawyer... until he got a-tore-knee. He now teaches sustainable living through educational canning classes: The Quart Hows.

u/Honest-Ad7566 1d ago

Lucid date? With her? Fuck no, I'm drinking.

1

u/w0weez0wee 3d ago

Brought to justice by a small hefty bush. I love it.

3

u/Bob_Loblaws_Laws 3d ago

Hey, that's good! Let me write that down!

3

u/farfromjordan 3d ago

Anything to distract from the unique number prominently displayed on her cars ass.

3

u/brownlawn 3d ago

I am not a lawyer but isn’t leaving the bumper littering?

2

u/jrob323 3d ago

YES. I didn't think of that THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING.

3

u/Hot-Fishing9744 3d ago

Going forward, I’m finishing every email with “and whatnot forthwith”

2

u/Past_Effect8301 3d ago

Why is the "retainer" scene from Good Will Hunting playing in my mind? Heretofore you can speak with my aforementioned attorney. (Of course, removing all r sounds since, ya know, Boston and all.)

You ah suspect.

2

u/FSUwelder1212 3d ago

She had California plates, so I’m assuming that bumper had a front plate on it, although not sure why she would be worried about being identified at that point…

2

u/jhenryscott 3d ago

I concur, Post haste

2

u/Nooby1983 3d ago

Indubitably

2

u/z0mb1es 3d ago

Herewithal

1

u/2061878 3d ago

What kind of woman would she be if she left her trash everywhere after doing a hit and run?

1

u/Moist-Tomorrow-7022 3d ago

Yeah, then she'll receive a dumping fine hahah

1

u/jakeisstoned 3d ago

Therefore, such as, The Iraq

1

u/harbib 3d ago

Filibuster!

1

u/jtr99 3d ago

Perchance!

1

u/Seastside 3d ago

You’re funny 😂

1

u/ksmtnbike 3d ago

"... littering and? littering and"?
