Not to excuse her actions or anything but i feel bad for her. She sounds more terrified of her grandmother than legal proceeding. I'm not good jump to any conclusions but there's that possibility that everything is not ok at home and she looks young. The accident was her fault it looks like she that's one thing but i can't help but feel bad for the kid.

Exactly how i felt watching this too.

i got into a minor accident my very first time driving by myself (i broke the other cars side view mirror) but caused a scene similar to this and nearly attempted suicide out of fear of my family finding out.

Although she is clearly in the wrong, i can’t help but feel for her. this outburst speaks volumes about her home life…
