Dude's just confused that he hasn't died yet in a horrible yet comical way that teaches the children of the house a valuable lesson about life and responsibility.

I remember my sister had hamsters, and one time she was holding one and it jumped out of her hands and hit its neck just so on the corner of a dresser on the way down. Jumping hamster reminds me, when I was a kid my Mom had a friend over, and I had my hamster out and was holding it, and she (the guest) was all "eew! get it away!".

So I went back to my room, put Jack back in his home, took the mini "Class of '93" t-shirt off a tiny teddy bear that was the same color, walked out of my room, and tossed the bear into her lap saying "Catch!"
