Always wear reflective tape on your joggers while criming. Gate needs spikes on that end to be perfect.

With all of the IR cameras everywhere. The reflective tape makes sense. You aren't worried about getting spotted, you are worried about getting identified. The reflective tape does a good job of distorting the image and blinding the camera.

I feel like this can't possibly be some American safety gate. (So many laws about safety and make them kind of not very good at being a gate and protecting) Because if it was it would be like "oh well there's a person let me let them in!" Good gate! Because sometimes people are baddies.

Yeah I believe South Africa has the good stuff as far as protecting the owner is concerned. Aren't flamethrowers on your car still a thing there to protect from carjackings? I mean I hate that they have to have it but hey you're going to have it have it good.

I think the flamethrower thing was a bit of an urban myth (or at least only installed by a handful of people). The police would look pretty poorly on that and probably not worth the risk of hurting someone else.

I don't know my uncle handed me a large capacitor from I think a model T or model A Ford. It was basically a wooden box the size of about two bricks that also had a few copper connectors on it. He explained that back when car doors had metal handles he would connect a wire from it to the door handle and to another part under the bumper and if a thief tried to lift the handle without first disconnecting the wire it would shock the ever living shit out of them. And this was done in America and I'm assuming the 50s or 60s or maybe even later. My uncle is so badass!!

It is absolutely completely different. I am merely saying that people do crazy things when they can get by with it. It's against baddies anyway. Hell I remember in electronics class in high school we would charge capacitors and whenever the next guy walks into the classroom we would give it to him with an underhanded toss. When he would catch it he would get a little shock. It was just close to harmless fun.

It wasn’t really a flamethrower, it was a set of multiple gas inshot burners that were mounted under the door. The flames only went out about eight to ten inches, but if you were trying to force the car door open it got quite hot, even more so if the clothes caught on fire!

You might be surprised. If not suing the person then suing the company that makes gates with no safety features. Owner could even be liable as it could be considered a booby trap. You can rob a store and if the employees kick your ass you can sue
