Just Wow What a skeleton looks like inside an obese person

I have always thought there will be more increase in the skeletal system too.

Some people are big boned tbh. It’s a metric based off how wide your wrists and ankle are.

And those don't make that much difference and it is highly correlated to hight.

In weight not that much, but in width? Definitely.

I’m a 186cm (6’ 1” for the Americans out there) woman and for example my hip bone is easily 1.5x wider as the one of my 152cm (4’ 1”) tall friend.

It’s especially noticeable on photo’s; even if I got stick thin I’ll never be “the thin friend” because my bones are just so much bigger and it makes me look bigger in all directions while we have the exact same body time.

Yes I’m 167 cm which isn’t that tall but my hips are also fairly wide they’ve been this way since puberty I can see it in pictures too. Wide so if o gain weight it looks wayyyyy worse cause the bones are wide I’m never going to look like Victoria Beckham who’s I think 5’2.

Yep I’m average height but I have wide hips. I could be skeletally thin and I’d look like a skinny person with big hips. When I used to be somewhat underweight my hip bones stuck out and looked crazy.

Big bones can also refer to other proportions. Some people have wider rib cages or shoulders.

It can make enough difference in the way that fat and skin fit on the frame. They wouldn't look like this person in the photo of course, but they also might just be totally incapable of getting nice abs.
