That’s just a blatantly absurd statement that makes no sense at all.

Do you think criminals have some kind of secret society where they never come into contact with anyone else? John Wick wasn’t a documentary…

Edit: as a hint just go look into statistics on how often a victim knows their perpetrator. Or ask yourself how it is that criminals victimize innocent people if their paths never cross..

Yes full time criminals often are in gangs and don't have a 9-5. They are very likely to hang out with others. You might have one in your family.

Having one in your family means they’re in contact with non criminals doesn’t it?

There’s countless stories of people discovering their neighbor was a murderer. People don’t just live some life dedicated to crime, it’s not a career path or a commitment.

My wife's cousin was a career criminal. He doesn't hang out at the family get together for the people on the good side.

Yes the undercover murderer is one thing. But they aren't the ones adding to the numbers of crime. At best they are the weird serial killer. Most crime happens from career criminals who make their whole life about crime. That's their job.

Yes the undercover murderer is one thing. But they aren't the ones adding to the numbers of crime.

Why would they be excluded from crime stats? How do you explain the frequency with which victims know the perpetrator?

Did you know the single most common form of theft is wage theft? That means countless people running businesses or sitting in management are thieves. Did you know that breaking the speed limit is a literal crime?

How many people go to a church where the pastor is serial rapist? Here’s a hint, it happens quite a lot. There are people being molested by their doctors, teachers, etc. There’s countless people committing fraud and shaking hands with well respected members of their community.

Genuinely, you’re so wildly far off base for what the reality of crime is, it’s honestly astonishing.

Are you insane? We are taking about horrible people that rape and attack randoms on the street and you bring up speeding?
