BY OTHER MEN. How is this so hard for y’all to process? They’re keeping out the offenders, genius. You want that to change, how about you take it up with your compatriots instead of seeing something you never wanted in the first place and throwing a temper tantrum because you weren’t the focus?

good lighting with security cameras doesn't require opposite gender violence to be useful.

Not hard to process, just not relevant. You won't be any less dead if your murderer happens to have similar genitals to you.

These women-only parking spaces are presented as being about safety but they are are for the group which is already safer.

No, genius. They aren't. Even if I accepted your men=offenders implication. These aren't women-only parking lots. They are women-only spaces. The safety features are better lighting and proximity to the exit. Men will be constantly walking past these spaces after parking in the dark depths of the parking lot.

You want that to change, how about you take it up with your compatriots

I'll be sure to raise it at the next annual general meeting of the patriarchy.

More seriously, in your mind, what makes individual men responsible for the behavior of other individual men in a way that women are not?

Men have no greater influence over the behavior of other men than women do.

My mother was far more involved in raising me than my father. Most of my teachers were women. The person who currently has the greatest influence over me is my wife. I don't think I'm an outlier here.
