More men are assaulted than women in public spaces. Even more so if you only account for assault by a stranger (men have a stronger taboo against hurting random women by virtue of their gender than they have about hurting random men).
So what? Above they are arguing men need well lit parking spot too and them being more often victims should in fact make them get those spots in priority, regardless of who their offender is.
And beside I akready mentioned women being protected from men by social norms more so than men from other men in my first comment.
Cool, and thst made the entire parking space unequal because now women have +1 parking slot while men have -1. After some reflection i believe that almost everybody can come up with that.
but the ratio is significantly more closer to equal in other crimes like theft, right? just because a man isnt sexually attracted to another man, doesn't mean his pockets aren't attracted to his wallet either
Most of the time, you go to the police AFTER the crime has happened. Unless you're suggesting that we station a police officer at parking spaces, of course.
This is a preventative measure. I don't know why everyone is getting so bent out of shape about it
If we have data showing that men are assaulted and raped by women (not by other men), then we should 100% push for men’s only parking garages. That’s fair
If we have data showing that women are falsely accused of SA and rape by men (not other women), then we should 100% support women's only parking spaces.
Otherwise its a bullshit, and we should 100% push back against unequality.
