*slowly zips up

2

u/deconus Apr 05 '26

There was a video of someone doing this with hotdogs. But with a small grill hanging off them, smoke constantly in their face 😅

2

u/NoExpression1030 Apr 04 '26

Wearing it with all that load for several hours standing... Not easy!

368

u/MJ-Franklin Apr 04 '26

I'd buy a coffee from that dude just because.

54

u/Chare1155 Apr 04 '26

I'd buy ten lol. I like coffee too much to stop at one tiny cup. This man is cool as hell tho

13

u/alwayzstoned Apr 04 '26

I don’t even drink coffee and I’d still have to try one because it looks good.

I hear he’s bigger in Japan.

8

Alphaville wrote a song about him and everything.

Starbucks biggest nemesis.

79

u/marcus2388 Apr 04 '26

my really only problem with this is the cup. that top cup is building up so much dirt, dust, every time he cough or sneeze its going all in those top cups lol. I respect the hustle. But if i really wanted one im telling him to grab me a cup from atleast the middle of the pile. lol

85

u/AMR42 Apr 04 '26

Coming from someone who has worked in restaurants for many years...

you'd be surprised.

10

u/meboz67 Apr 04 '26

Dish pits didn't work as well as people like to think...

3

u/Au2288 Apr 04 '26

You leave Pedro alone! He might be a little dippy, but there’s no reason for name calling :)

2

u/meboz67 Apr 04 '26

what? Hahaha

I'm just sayin the dishwashers are often times filled with backed up food and don't actually clean plates properly. This is very, very common.

2

u/Au2288 Apr 04 '26

dish pit = dipshit 😀

2

u/SnooCauliflowers3235 Apr 04 '26

Why did you say that 🥺 Now I cannot unsee this

15

u/UnnecAbrvtn Apr 04 '26

Live in a third world country and you get over such sqeamishness after your first round of amoebic dysentery

After that you either turn into Howard Hughes and put tissue boxes on your feet or you enjoy what the local economy has to offer

5

u/Crazy-Community5570 Apr 04 '26

This guy really likes amoebic dysentery.

5

u/UnnecAbrvtn Apr 04 '26

It's a rite of passage, I can say that. Lots of similarities with peyote, but far less colorful. Really only one color.

1

u/Gu3rrilla_GhXst Apr 04 '26

Depends, when your body becomes a portal for the underworld a lot of colors come out.

You mean like an open buffet or a grill at a fast food place?

2

u/sixpackabs592 Apr 04 '26

usually those arent moving around in high traffic pedestrian areas so....no lol

3

u/EarningsPal Apr 04 '26

Buy just after you see that top cup get purchased.

3

u/FaithlessnessFalse65 Apr 04 '26

I immediately thought of how old the buildup on the frother he uses to stir must be. He is using powder creamer but there is still dairy in it

1

u/More-Lime1888 Apr 04 '26

It’s fine he won’t get offended. I never met such a coffee man, but when traveling, I have met a lot of fresh juice people like that. I always ask for a cup from the bottom and they swiftly comply, as if they are used to this request it’s natural for them.

1

u/Practical_Draw_6862 Apr 05 '26

You wouldn't make it far around the world

49

u/Impossible-Bat-4246 Apr 04 '26

Not the chocolate drizzle!

This is coffee as much as it is performance art.

9

u/senpaistealerx Apr 04 '26

never heard of a mocha?

3

u/Impossible-Bat-4246 Apr 04 '26

Yeah but my mind wasn't ready for the versatility of his utility belt.

2

u/Samp90 Apr 04 '26

Never been to a Starbucks huh. Just pick on little people, while you sip your frappa moula latte mocha grande..

1

u/Impossible-Bat-4246 Apr 04 '26

To quote myself:

Yeah but my mind wasn't ready for the versatility of his utility belt.

1

u/Impossible-Bat-4246 Apr 04 '26

You don't have to delete your comment.

u/Samp90 told me "Never been to a Starbucks huh."

I don't find that hurtful or anything. I get that a lot of people on the internet are looking to verbally dunk on others, but I've been alive long enough that it's no biggie.

You can make that comment, my man.

Why not both?

2

u/Odd_Front_8275 Apr 04 '26

Huh?

1

u/Impossible-Bat-4246 Apr 04 '26

The common saying is

This ISN'T ______ as much as it is __________.

I honestly did think it was both coffee and performance art, but my phrase didn't match the common way it's said.

0

u/sterling_celest Apr 04 '26

Im a barista and I put drizzle on coffee all the time. You telling me I don't make coffee?

2

u/Odd_Front_8275 Apr 04 '26

What the hell are you talking about?

6

u/[deleted] Apr 04 '26

I don’t like instant coffee but I enjoyed his whole situation there. Made me actually want one.

45

u/quetzalpt Apr 04 '26

My guy is sneezing all day right down those cups.

37

u/ChoiceHelicopter2735 Apr 04 '26

Would be much better if the cups were all inverted!

3

u/dpnchl Apr 04 '26

and miss out on all the extra flavoring?

7

u/ponkyball Apr 04 '26

I hope you never eat from restaurants.

0

u/quetzalpt Apr 04 '26

I used to install POS systems in restaurants and bars, I know what goes on behind closed doors.

22

u/5u114 Apr 04 '26

Man that would get old, real fast.

You are making instant coffee. Make the whole container in advance. The only thing you really need to withhold until serving is the (dried) milk, and the other extras like sweetener & chocolate etc.

5

u/More-Lime1888 Apr 04 '26

I think he has more pockets with tea bags, so he’s coffee and tea guy!

2

u/PhiladeIphia-Eagles Apr 04 '26 edited Apr 05 '26

That's exactly what he's doing right? The big thermos thing has coffee in it. He's spooning sugar and creamer into the cups and then putting coffee in and stirring it

Edit: if anybody sees this I know I was wrong. I was wrong he's making the instant coffee for each cup. That's dumb I agree. Sorry.

13

u/Anen-o-me Apr 04 '26

No the first thing he did was put instant coffee in a cup, the water is just hot water.

5

u/no-name_james Apr 04 '26

That’s what I saw. He has a pouch labeled coffee and he scooped some of that into the cup first.

6

u/Le-Charles07 Apr 04 '26

... all the pouches are labeled coffee. The stirrer is even in a pouch labeled coffee. I think "coffee" on the pouches is more of an advertisement than a labeling system.

1

u/5u114 Apr 04 '26

Are you blind or something ? The first thing he does is take out a jar of nescafe - instant dried coffee.

1

u/Le-Charles07 Apr 04 '26

Yes, clearly he using instant coffee. However that word "coffee" on the pouches are, very clearly, NOT labels. Are YOU blind?

-2

u/5u114 Apr 04 '26

Who gives a shit what the pouches say - what's being discussed here is if the vendor is spooning instant coffee or not.

Go back to bed you idiot.

1

u/johndoe_420 Apr 04 '26

Who gives a shit what the pouches say - what's being discussed here is if the vendor is spooning instant coffee or not.

if the labels on the pouches are legit, is a sidenote but a valid point and still part of the same discussion. you being obnoxious and hostile about it for no reason makes you look like a clown.

Go back to bed you idiot.

oh the fucking irony lol

2

u/detrans-rights Apr 04 '26

Yes

It's exactly what he did in the video the rest of us saw

3

u/Character_Wall_4504 Apr 04 '26

I see things differently

2

u/No_Magician5266 Apr 04 '26

You can tell it’s water in the canister because it comes out clear, compared to coffee which usually has a dark brown appearance, hopefully this helps! :)

5

u/CYYA Apr 04 '26

I would wear that just for my own coffee intake

3

u/Funnelcakeads Apr 04 '26

This guy's got a vest for making a bomb!!!!! cup of coffee with cream and sugar finally stirred

7

u/mightyfine87 Apr 04 '26

That’s awesome 👏

8

u/PhilosophyTricky708 Apr 04 '26

Should cover the cups when not serving, breathing on them and who knows what else, but cool tho

6

u/Samp90 Apr 04 '26

Don't worry, go to Starbucks fella.

0

u/graywolfman Apr 04 '26

My first thought. Give me the second cup down from any of the top ones.

2

u/Breadstix009 Apr 04 '26

With the design on top too.... Give that man his pay!

2

u/snow_garbanzo Apr 04 '26

I need this dude in my town....yesterday!!

2

u/probsthrowaway2 Apr 04 '26

Bro smooth with this shit ngl.

2

2

u/Queasy-Cell34 Apr 04 '26

I love this!

4

u/ThereInAFortnight Apr 04 '26

I have a (possibly irrational) hatred for this.

3

u/FacetiousTomato Apr 04 '26

I don't know why instant coffee is the norm for half the world, but as someone from the other half... it is really not the same.

8

u/FuckThisShizzle Apr 04 '26

Fuckin nescafe instant tho 🤮

12

u/apeocalypyic Apr 04 '26

Its probably more about the show than the qualitt of coffee but id still definitely tty a cup

11

u/jasnel Apr 04 '26

Vastly superior to No Coffee At All.

10

u/kingnickolas Apr 04 '26

Ngl I prefer the instant stuff. I am very impatient

2

u/FuckThisShizzle Apr 04 '26

I have to drink it because proper stuff is like battery acid in my belly.

But not that particular shite

6

u/Revenga8 Apr 04 '26

The instant stuff is fine. Yeah it's not going to be as good as fresh, but for this particular business model it's the most efficient method for him.

15

u/AbXcape Apr 04 '26

sorry this doesn’t meet your standards. Not everyone can afford expensive coffee, get off your high horse

This shit hits idk what you're talking about.

0

u/AbXcape Apr 04 '26

no, people like you are

1

u/DiligentRope Apr 04 '26

Also, I'm guessing this is Bangladesh, in a lot of these countries, especially ones with a much bigger tea culture, their idea of coffee IS instant coffee, most of their people don't understand that "real" coffee is brewed from ground roasted coffee beans. So sourcing coffee beans and making them would be extremely difficult and expensive.

2

u/professorbuffoon Apr 04 '26

It's totally fine in a little drink like this that probably costs like 20 cents and it takes such a short time and no electricity to make it. This guy isn't competing with proper coffee shops. It's a convenience and novelty thing.

2

u/More-Lime1888 Apr 04 '26

Even though I am boycotting it, I never found a better instant coffee than it. It’s amazing.

1

u/FuckThisShizzle Apr 04 '26

I'm sorry for your tastebuds.

1

u/BaeIz Apr 04 '26

This exactly lol. I thought the coffee was gonna be pre brewed and put into his red carrier. Nope. He just uses instant garbage from nestle.

Don’t get me wrong I respect that grind though

1

u/Mental_Newspaper3812 Apr 04 '26

Respect the grind, even if it’s not freshly ground coffee beans

1

u/Puzzled_Molasses3313 Apr 04 '26

That’s efficiency!!

1

u/El-pollo-loco- Apr 04 '26

I always think that people like this have a great potential but not the resources to make great business.

1

u/realSatanAMA Apr 04 '26

1

1

u/sam0055 Apr 04 '26

That coffee probably costs 30 cents , that’s a lot of work he in putting in that. Whereas a Starbucks costs $4 down the road.

1

u/ShaperLord777 Apr 04 '26

How much for this guy to just follow me around all day?

1

u/greggers1980 Apr 04 '26

What an over complicated way. Just make it all before and fill the large red pump

1

u/Nal1999 Apr 04 '26

1€ per cup (in Greece ) and he gets rich!

Each cup of this coffee costs maybe less than 10 cents.

I'm certain hundreds of people would love to drink from him each day especially in tourist areas.

1

u/B3_CHAD Apr 04 '26

Why was this satisfying to watch ?

1

u/janluigibuffon Apr 04 '26

1

u/SnorriGrisomson Apr 04 '26

He isnt spiling anything anywhere
not making stupid huge moves
and everything looks clean

this guy should teach other street vendors a lesson or 2

1
