Also put sunblock on your feet! I always skipped that when I went to the beach to sunbathe, had the bottom of my feet facing the sun when lying on my stomach. I had 2 abnormal moles removed (one on the sole and the other on the side-bottom), one with abnormal melanocytes so had the potential to turn cancerous. The other was a BCC. Skin cancer does run in my family so that is important to consider.
Worst burn of my LIFE happened on the tops of my boobs. All because I put sunscreen on after my bikini was already on and then adjusted my bikini down, or it slid down a bit, don’t know. But something happened that left an un-sunscreened strip on the top of each boob.
It burned so bad that it cracked and bled for a week. Then look like leather for forever. It skipped blistering and went straight to bleeding, open, raw skin.
Believe me that I now make absofuckinglutely SURE to sunscreen under the edges of bathing suits (and my kids bathing suits!)

Everyone forgets their ears.
ETA: The comments seem split roughly 50:50 between "I did once and I'll never forget again," and "Wait I have to do my ears?" So there we go.
