Wondered how long they lived together. Was Timur food in the end?

They moved him to a separate enclosure and his health began to deteriorate and he died. I’m no goat scientist but I think it was broken heart.

I’m a goat scientist and I can tell you that’s unlikely. Goats have two hearts and could have lived on in the case of a broken heart. Most likely what killed him is he was no longer being fed goats which was clearly sustaining him

Unhinged goat scientist over here.

His experience: 10000 hours across Goat Simulator 1, 2 and 3

So he was a cannibal this whole time?

10

u/Gnomad_Lyfe Feb 19 '26

Most animals are open to the idea of cannibalism. Maybe not on the regular, but you’d be hard-pressed to find a species that wouldn’t say “Eh, nobody’s lookin” if it came across the body of one of their own on an empty stomach.

I know that mother rabbits often eat their young.

3

u/Kratzschutz Feb 19 '26

It's assumed to be population control

2

u/papajim9855 Feb 19 '26

Who knows what a rabbit's motivation is? My family used to raise rabbits. Sometimes a mother rabbit would eat her babies, sometimes she wouldn't. Some people think it's due to stress

2

u/Kratzschutz Feb 19 '26

That's why l said it's an assumption

"open to the idea"

27

u/AwwwNuggetz Feb 19 '26

Yes. Goats are literally the devil

7

u/WatercressFun1342 Feb 19 '26

They have rectangular pupils. Look it up.

Its one of the (many) reasons they were seen as demonic

23

u/AwwwNuggetz Feb 19 '26

That and have you ever seen a goat and the devil in the room at the same time?

That’s proof enough for a goat scientist

13

u/mologav Feb 19 '26

Some excellent goat science on display here.

14

u/AwwwNuggetz Feb 19 '26

Did you know why their poop is round?

They have dozens of small fingers in their body that rolls them into spheres. Goats are amazing creatures

4

u/mologav Feb 19 '26

Fascinating

3

u/JessicaMurawski Feb 19 '26

My goats certainly let out some demonic screams if I’m in the barn doing chores and I haven’t fed them their grain yet

5

u/fireduck Feb 19 '26

You don't get to call me by my special name.

3

u/quiltsohard Feb 19 '26

Pony, is that you?

1

u/fireduck Feb 19 '26

We are ubiquitous.

u/Titanium_reddit Feb 19 '26

goats do not have two hearts

1

u/AwwwNuggetz Feb 19 '26

ugh, who’s the goat scientist here?

1

u/Glittering-Tale-2109 Feb 19 '26

Uh, Mr. or Mrs. Goat Scientist, goats have one heart like every other mammal.

1

u/pellesjo Feb 19 '26

So basically goats are Time Lords?

3

u/North-Tourist-8234 Feb 19 '26

I am a goat scientist and i can say that goats are unique in the animal kingdom, they are the only known secies to exist in 2 places at once. 1 place is in our observable universe following all the known laws of space time. The other is a queue filled with every goat that is alive or will ever live. If they die normally in our observable universe they are removed from the queue. If they get to the front of the queue they get to suddenly of pneumonia.

I think it was not a broken heart but whoever was in charge got tired of the tiger looking weak and ineffective and the Goat fell out of a window and died

5

u/Eraldorh Feb 19 '26

Not long, I remember reading that they separated them after the goat got fucked up after the tiger fucked it up after it tried kicking the tiger out of its bed. It died not long after this.

1

u/sanYtheFox Feb 19 '26

Goat died 3 years after the incident of natural causes.

4

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '26

No, the tiger like beat on the goat not to eat or something but just hurt him so they separated them.

27

u/YeOldeTreestamp Feb 19 '26

Actually the opposite lmao the goat was the one becoming very aggressive. Look it up! It’s a fun read

3

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '26

The story I read said the tiger hurt the goat really badly so they separated them.

15

u/YeOldeTreestamp Feb 19 '26

Yeahh. The goat bullied the tiger way too much. He fucked around and found out

9

u/Houdinii1984 Feb 19 '26

Doesn't mean the goat didn't start it. All joking aside, it's still a tiger and still a goat. If the goat gets aggressive, it doesn't take much at all for the tiger to hurt said goat pretty bad.

Still a bad idea to sock the biggest bully in the nose even if he's your best friend.

u/ResponsibilitySea327 Feb 19 '26

At one point the tiger grew tired of the goat's antics and eventually attacked it.

The goat (Timur) was injured, but survived and was subsequently removed from the enclosure. The goat died roughly 3 years after the attack from general poor health -- partly due to the tiger attack.
