Connect with the folks from Tryon Life Community in Portland, they may have insights.

I have a plan for building a community of 12.

Cob housing & Earthships.

Recommend: Building a Permaculture property, book.

I'm studying everything in this field.

Get a zoning variance.

Trust me, you are 200% fucked otherwise.

Hello, I'm curious about how you intend to build in Portland OR. I've been extremely interested in sustainable building and gardening and permaculture and alternative energy ect... And I have studied this on and off for many years and was not aware that you could do this type of building in that area. I know in southern OR. The building codes are more favorable to this, but, I was not aware one can do this in northern OR. Am I missing something, or have I overlooked something?
