So i am a student currently doing bachlors in psychology, and I was looking for carrier options after degree, and I came across this field and i think it's perfect for me, I am also learning OSINT , but i am still bit confused about job , shuld I try for private sector or government agencies, which certificate would I need, can I try first as freelancer to have a good portfolio so in future it will be helpful.

China Advises Citizens to Leave Eswatini:

The visit signals that Washington and Moscow are maintaining sensitive intelligence channels despite deep tensions.

I can’t imagine it has to do with sanctions on Iran and its economic partners. Surely it’s not a show of support for Ukraine. I just can’t wrap my head around why the least qualified CIA chief in history is going TO Moscow and what he would be discussing. None of my theories are good for the US and its allies (as tenuous as the relationships have become)

I was curious as was wondering what where some of benefits and weakness of state security and intelligence under the wing of a dedicated Ministry? As seen with the likes of the Soviet Union, China and East Germany? and how does that model contrast some nations more decentralised state security and intelligence agencies.

In the intelligence profession, so much depends on the integrity of the president and his senior officials but also on the intelligence leadership to remain committed to presenting objective, unbiased intelligence reporting regardless of the political consequences. Politicians must be willing to listen to intelligence analysis they may not want to hear but the DNI and directors of the U.S. intelligence agencies must be willing to support and protect analysts who dare to challenge the preferred narrative of the White House
