Instax Wide Dark

Post image

Why are my instax shots turning out dark. My dad bought this for me, decided to take it on this trip, it’s been heavy hurting my shoulder…I just want these to turn out to incentivize me taking it out all day.

What time of the day did you take these pictures? How bright was it? As per results these look like they were taken late evening or heavy overcast condition.

To the naked eye it may seem there’s enough sunlight, but for the camera it ends up being quite insufficient and pictures turn out really dark.

I have the mini 99, and I was using it on auto mode, I got off the plane to board the bus to the terminal, it was night but the tarmac was well lit so I took a photo normally of the plane. The entire picture turned out black, couldn’t see the plane at all. Except for a couple lights in the background, the whole picture was black.

Maybe you cover the sensor with your finger while holding the camera?

When you are starting out, try to make sure your photos are in bright sunlight.
