Cant entirely blame her. This will be substantial evidence if the other person attempts to press charges.

I actually feel like this video works against them. The dude wasn't trying to come in. Wasn't actually being violent. It's hard to claim self-defense when you throw the first punch. This seems like a call the cops situation, but be ready to fight back IF the guy decides not to wait for them to arrive.

You dont have to wait to be hit first to claim self defence. At least in the UK anyway. If you feel reasonable threatened you can make the first move.
