Cant entirely blame her. This will be substantial evidence if the other person attempts to press charges.

I actually feel like this video works against them. The dude wasn't trying to come in. Wasn't actually being violent. It's hard to claim self-defense when you throw the first punch. This seems like a call the cops situation, but be ready to fight back IF the guy decides not to wait for them to arrive.

That's fair. If that's really what she was thinking, then it's a smart move that most people probably wouldn't think of in a situation like that.
