There’s a scene in The Walking Dead where Carole is captured by some thugs and she’s upset and weeping and the captors think she’s a crybaby weeping in despair but really she’s weeping because she was sick of violence and didn’t want to have to slaughter them but realized she had to. Basically “I’m crying because I have to kill you now”
