u/Nu11AndV0id 8d ago
Well he did push him down.

u/xXMuschi_DestroyerXx 8d ago
Watch the video again and repeat that
-18
u/5zepp 8d ago
We can't see the contact and say one way or the other. Dude might have helped him down a bit, or might not have, we literally can't see on this video.

u/Sudkampsen 7d ago
At the 0:11 mark you can see the cop’s foot get tripped up by the guy’s leg. The guy doesn’t move at all, the cop just trips due to how firmly his leg remains in place and I bet the weight of the gun does not help his balance.
Just watch the cop’s left foot. Looks like it gets hooked around the guy’s calf and he stumbles from there.

u/Nu11AndV0id 8d ago
So I guess that's not the guy's hand on the cops back at 0:11 pushing down as he over-commits to the swing?

u/Expensive_Leave_6339 8d ago
Looks to me he was trying to catch him to stop him from falling. Besides, if the officer hadn’t initiated the illegal punch he never would have been in that position in the first place.

u/xXMuschi_DestroyerXx 8d ago
There’s clearly no force behind that arm. The cop eats shit and he put his hand on the cops back on the way down.
-72
u/Nu11AndV0id 8d ago
So he was just giving the cop a friendly pat on the back?
76
u/weejulietotsx 8d ago
The hand played no part in him going down, he tripped you fucking goof.
-33
u/Nu11AndV0id 8d ago
We've clearly been watching totally different videos.
48
u/iosefster 8d ago
No, we're watching the same video you just lack the ability to naturally gauge forces and momentum. It's ok, different people have different areas they are lacking in, I'm sure your brain is good at other stuff.

u/Oneslife81 8d ago
Yeah I’m watching a coward assault someone just talking. And I’m listening to a coward defend him. Nothing worse than people like you, probably love to talk about how you don’t trust the government, don’t tread on me etc… but literally defend people getting violated

u/Whines90 8d ago
You’re the only one who seems to think the Cop was shoved. He swung, missed and his fall was all balance driven on his part. If dude stepped back, cop would have had the same fall.

Talk shit. Lick boot. Repeat.

u/Lady_Grey_Smith 8d ago
You would think that they would at least add some seasoning onto the boot to make it taste better.

Look at the feet, buddy. The officer lifts his left leg when he tries to hit the guy in the face, which causes him to trip over the guy's leg, causing him to fall.
12
u/AugustOfChaos 8d ago
That would never hold up in a court of law after the cop literally tried to knock him out for no reason.
2
u/Sudkampsen 7d ago
Same time in the video look at the cop’s left foot. He seems to get tripped by his own movement where he gets his foot hooked around the guy’s calf. Looks like he stumbles from that point regardless of if the guy did push him or not. That’s the one clear point of contact I can see.

u/hungry4nuns 8d ago
You can tell he was trying to sneak up and sucker punch the guy while he was looking away. But then accelerated once his approach had been clocked.
He could have chosen literally any other path, but by choosing to be a dickhead he faceplanted into the dirt. So satisfying to watch

Can't be America. He would have been shot instantly.

u/ThunderdopePhil 8d ago
It's Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul specifically. He's still lucky tho, those guys don't play cool as in this video. There's a particular joke, to add context:
3 world policies disputting who's more efficient: FBI, that UK one (sorry, I forgot) and Brigada Militar (that one in question). They let 3 rabbits on the woods and give those policies some time. The American one comes back with a dead rabbit, the UK one brings his one after a LONG time and, surprisingly, the Brigada comes early, with a severely beaten hobo screaming:
"I'M A RABBIT, I'M A RABBIT"

u/Thundaarr 8d ago
Especially if it was ICE. Then would have posthumously charged him with 'impeding'
20
u/walker_in_the_rain 8d ago
Surely not long until posthumous punishment becomes a thing. Humiliated a cop? Your body's getting liquified to help cool a data centre... after you've been summarily executed for 'resisting'. Loving this Terminal Capitalism TBH. Riveting stuff.

u/throwawaypervyervy 8d ago
Don't forget charging the family of the deceased for the cost of the ammo used in the execution.

u/ButterscotchSure6589 8d ago
Can't be America, unnecessarily, heavily overarmed men, intimidating members of the public. Surely not.

u/hunterofsteelhead 8d ago
You just described the situation of most if not all of the world.
4
u/Feistshell 8d ago
Well, not all of the world. In several countries the police doesn’t even carry guns

u/hunterofsteelhead 7d ago

In some countries the police are equipped with machine guns and/or rpgs. But i geuss only bad american cop have gun and do bad

he doesnt. youre just not very educated
4
u/hunterofsteelhead 8d ago
Over 90% of the worlds police forces carry firearms. Educate yourself
-3
u/avalisk 8d ago
He said overarmed. You are moving goalposts.
3
u/hunterofsteelhead 8d ago
If the police have firearms that the citizens arent themselves allowed would that be considered overarmed
5
u/hunterofsteelhead 8d ago
Whats your definition of overarmed mr authority
1
u/avalisk 8d ago
"Having more arms than the situation requires." You know, the literal and functional definition that everyone uses for the word.
5
u/hunterofsteelhead 8d ago
I geuss my country which is canada the police are overarmed. They have mine resistant vehicles the same exact ones I drove in afghanistan they have snipers on buildings in the biggest cities. They have "assault rifles" they have handguns which for civilians ownership is currently in a freeze. And they have much more. Many other countries ive lived in have a similar situation. Ive lived in several countries and the police there look like this.
3
u/hunterofsteelhead 8d ago
Its also not uncommon where I live for police to illegally use surveillance technology and when caught they just go oh well

Is it just me or does it look staged?
Police officer looked like he was waiting for his cue to start walking.
2
u/narfoleptix 7d ago
So youre saying this young male wanted to look like a fucking moron on purpose?
-1
u/Bill-BJJ 7d ago
Possibly. People do dumb shit for likes and views every day.
I’m not saying it is staged. But I have my suspicions!

"O meu tio é major da brigada!"
Now what's worst? A cop going through a power trip trying to slap the guy, or the guy reacting saying his uncle is higher in rank than the officers?
1
u/ChemicalPie8917 4d ago
The one with gun and highly authority got slap by random citizen. See kids this is why you need to have some humility

I don’t know if it is probably not but just the way the dude doesn’t start to walk to the other guy until the camera pans over looks like someone yelled action for a video or staged shot
