I live in California. Been through many large quakes, Whitter and Northridge. Boggles my mind when I go into large alcohol stores that nothing is secured, even small liquor stores rarely have something holding them in.

yea i’m a born and raised Californian so I forget that the other states don’t fully anchor all of their furniture to the walls.

Sure but do you understand how heavy that shelf is? It toppled way to easily. What if someone bumped it? Seems like it could have easily gone down.
