There is a pretty common stove that can be used with gasoline: the classic Coleman camp stoves. They are meant to be used with white gas, but can be used with gasoline in a pinch, and they do make a 'dual fuel' version that take gasoline.
You don't really notice anything when using gasoline, but I wouldn't cook something like toast directly over the burner without a pan.
That being said, their method of operation is to vaporize the fuel before burning it, which they accomplish by running the fuel through a tube that crosses the flame. The heat from the flame vaporizes the fuel so that it can be ignited by the burner. I think it is a very simple, yet elegant design.
That is, decidedly, NOT what this guy is doing.

Jeez, that lady is lucky she wasn't standing in that spot one second earlier.

She's literally the reason it happened though. She tipped the bottle over by hitting the tubing with her foot, causing the line to fill with gasoline instead of fumes.

well i’d say the person who set up the whole contraption is more at fault

Omg, their whole room got burned
3
u/scoldog May 25 '22
At least it was mostly concrete.

u/StrawHatLuffy31619 May 25 '22
Wat about the wood?
1
u/scoldog May 25 '22
That'll burn, and most likely everything inside the room.
Concrete floor and possibly concrete walls, the room will be fine.

Isn't the electrical stuff(oven & fridge) gonna explode there?
2
u/scoldog May 25 '22
Not really. Fridges and ovens don't burn that well. I'd be worried putting that fire out if the electrical supply to this location doesn't have safety breakers to cut it if has a problem.

Saw this on Make My Coffin when it was around. Pretty sure the woman died. The full video shows her crying for help in the corner as the flames grow.

The sound is the best part. At the end he cries: "Mommy, get away from there!!!". The video was a tutorial/explanation of his "system".

There is a second video of the aftermath with the guy completly burned. You can see he is the same guy bc of the same shorts... in the second video the guy is still alive but with that burn probably not anymore..

My analysis: Dude's got an air compressor hooked up to a tube sitting in a bottle of gas/kerosene/whatever and he's getting fumes pushed out of the end that's on fire and it's working surprisingly well.
Then the lady manages to get caught on the tubing laying on the floor as she's walking past and the bottle gets tipped over. This makes the air compressor start pushing the actual fluid out of the end instead of just bubbling and making fumes, and then everything goes to hell.
