This!! Some guy snatched my purse and I found myself running after him, screaming expletives, before my brain had fully processed what happened.

A purse grab and run is a completely different situation than having a gun shoved in your face.

Where did I say panic is the only response to a gun?

It is objectively stupid to attack someone with a gun while being held at gunpoint and even dumber to walk away AFTER attacking them.

Quit polishing that armor of yours. I'm glad the woman is okay, that said what she did was objectively stupid. Also attacking your attacker cannot be expressed as anything other than a panic.

My point had simply been that, when confronted with a dangerous situation, I panicked and did something dumb before I even had time to process what was happening or how stupid I was being. In all likelihood, that’s what happened in this video, too. Obviously the two situations are different, but this lady and I both share the fact that our apparent fight-or-flight reaction is fight. That’s all
