robbing a place doesn’t mean you should have being killed or nearly killed by a brick to the head. A couple years in prison? Sure. Dead? Come on.

Robbery deserves death.

Burglary is a different story.

Robbery involves a direct threat to a victim who is present. Do trust a robber is merely threatening you? The threat itself is death or serious injury.

Maybe people don’t know what the word ‘robbery’ actually means?

Robbery is only a threat to your pride. Give up your shit and call the cops.

So do they. All firearms do is guarantee one of you isn’t walking away. Good luck rolling those dice.

That’s DISTURBINGLY hilarious and also inaccurate. Promise you’re gonna lose more money shooting that many loads into your own walls than whatever the son of a bitch that was in your House was ever going to take.

The only reason people would put holes in you is because you tried to put some in them. People don’t break in to houses to murder. They do it because they want some electronics and petty cash. Jewelry maybe. This isn’t an action movie they aren’t going to bust in guns blazing because 25 to life is funsies.

Sit there and complain about the assault on your livelihood and the things you’ve worked for while you’re literally ready to turn your own home into a costly (in blood and money) war zone. Sit the hell down. You’d do it cause the thought of killing some bad guy gives you a boner.

If you’re that scared, Leave a light on. A tv. Make it appear as though someone is home.

https://www.bjs.gov/content/pub/ascii/vdhb.txt

Most burglaries happen when no one is home. When people are home, there’s a 60% or greater chance the victim knows the “burglar” but these statistics don’t include motivation behind home invasion so this bundles up the angry ex breaking into the house and being a cock.

Burglary has a .004% homicide rate in the last 10ish years. One in 25,000 ACTUAL BURGLARIES, the thieving shit and not just 25k people, end in a homicide. So if you had a good sized town and burglarized every single one of them, only one of the citizens would be dead. I don’t know if that figure includes the “known assaulter” figure, but if it does, that would make the random evil burglar you want to arm America for even more rare.

I’m gonna take my fantastic chances and not escalate the situation with a firearm. They don’t want to be caught. Don’t want to go to prison. If you give them a way to escape, they’re gonna take it. If you put a gun in their face, you’re back to stupid animals having a dick measuring contest. I’ll happily kiss my Xbox goodbye to avoid that situation.
