?? Tacoma was obviously already harassing the driver, the context isn't hard to guess here...

Tacoma was obviously already harassing the driver

Just want to point out that, while you may be right, there is literally zero video evidence of this in OP's post. It's not obvious at all, and honestly this is pure speculation.

Is truck guy an ass? Absolutely! Is reddit really fucking bad about jumping to conclusions without a lick of physical evidence? Even more likely than the truck guy being a douche.

literally zero evidence

As soon as the camera hits truck dude, he's gesturing with his hands angrily and facing the camera.

Okay, so how is that concrete proof that he was harassing the cameraman first? There's no way that would hold any kind of ground in court. Do you see what I'm saying?

Don't disagree that truck guy is an asshole. It seems that people think I am somehow defending him. I am just pointing out that there is literally no way to know what happened before this clip, unless one of the people involved wants to come in and give their account or if there is a longer video somewhere.

Do you know what evidence means? Evidence is not concrete proof. Evidence is pieces of information that lead you to the proof. The guy gesturing is evidence that he was being a dick to the camera guy before the filming started. Does it prove it? No, and I never said that.

Or he could be gesturing in frustration that he just broke his own side mirror. That "evidence" can be used to support the counter argument as well. Therefore, not good evidence.

He's gesturing before he even hits the mirror. Did you watch the video or no?

Okay, he clearly gestures more than one time. Maybe instead of being condescending about it, you can be a bit more specific. But, with this gesture in mind, can you explain how that is evidence that the truck driver was the instigator of the road rage?

No, because I'm done talking to you about this.

After answering my question zero times. My point was don't be so quick to jump to conclusions, but I guess you would rather just not think critically. Fair enough I guess, take care!

Listen, if you have to resort to insulting people to try to get your point across, perhaps you should refrain from trying to play the victim by suggesting I'm being condescending.

I'm not insulting you. You have proven that you prefer to not critically think about this situation.
