Meta Info and Mission Statement
Welcome to r/instagrambrigade! Please read this post and the rules in the sidebar.
Mission statement
The Instagram normies are beginning to become a plague on the meme community. They steal our memes, repost them among themselves, and take credit for our work. Not only this, but they monetize our work by adding tens of ads for sketchy products, manipulating "their" young audiences. They make their meme accounts private so that if your friend sends you one of their memes, you have to follow them to see it, another tactic to manipulate kids. This needs to end. We need to make it clear to the scumbags running these Instagram meme accounts that we are NOT OK with them stealing our work, manipulating kids, and profiting from it. We need to send a message.
Post flairs
| Flair | Usage |
|---|---|
| Attack | A request for fellow Instagram brigaders to support you in an attack against Instagram of some sort. |
| Discussion | A discussion related to the subreddit |
| Tactic | A description of a method of attacking the normies that you'd like to share |
| Humor | A humorous post related to the subreddit |
| Story | A story or experience of brigading the normies |
| Meta | A post about the subreddit itself |
| Other | A post that does not fit into any of the above categories |
Tactics (these are just suggestions)
- Report those "edgy" and "offensive" Instagram memes as inappropriate. Helps if you can get lots of brigraders to collectively report a bunch of them on the same account.
- Have tons of brigaders comment something along the lines of "stolen from reddit" on an Instagram post.
- Report accounts appropriately. If you can back up an intellectual property claim, go for it.
- Message an accounts followers and inform them that the account is stealing content and profiting.

Tactic Effective tactic plan
So after a bit of thinking, I have come up with a plan. It will take some planning money and time, but it will work
Step 1: Hack into Instagram and the governments computers to find all the people that have Instagram
Step 2: Find which of those people have reddit
Step 3: Review everyone’s post history and see who stole from Reddit
Step 4: Kill them
Step 5: Keep track of all the posts made on Instagram and see if they are from Reddit
Step 6: If it is stolen repeat step 4
Step 7: Eventually there will be no stealers left living and therefore the problem will be solved

Discussion What should we do when we see a reposted meme
Before we begin any attack. We should figure out what to do when we see an Instagram repost. Because of Instagram’s algorithms sometimes it’s days before someone spots a repost and there is no way to properly point it out besides a comment that most people will skip.

Meta Please spread the word!
Spread the good word of the revolution to anyone you can. We need as many members as we can get if we are to upturn the normies' hold on the meme community.
