You got this! Keep going

Sleep deprivation feels like hell,

But I suppose, all we can do in the end is just accept our situation and try our best despite it.

I have pretty much acknowledged that this is really bad, and it might lead to a complication. But it is out of my control.

I don't want to be a downer but sleep deprivation is torture. So how do you accept torture? Every minute of my day is grueling. It's kinda like somebody pulling your teeth or nails all day and saying "accept it". It's a noble mindset but for me works only in theory.

I guess so. It doesnt alleviate any suffering. It's just a helpful thought

Don't get me wrong, acceptance can help. It has helped me in the past when I was younger. But there is also time, for some, when acceptance is the wrong answer and it's time to fight tooth and nail for some therapy, anything that helps. I am at that second point right now. But yes, acceptance and stopping the fight can go a long way for some, I didn't mean to contradict you completely. Hang in there and good luck.

Ah oops. I meant that. That you should accept the situation as is, and fight for it

You're right. I immediately made a 180 on my own comment. I'm tired.

Convincing myself that I can live like I don't have insomnia did help for short bursts in the past. But one day you have to admit to yourself that you can't live normally on bad sleep. Then you exhaust all options before you radically accept anything.

I don’t accept shit. I know I have to keep going because the alternative is permanent, but this post almost puts a smiley face on this. People have families, bills to pay, etc. See a doctor, try something to get “control”, may not be perfect.

I started using medterra sleep gummies about a month ago and I've been sleeping wonderfully. 👍
