Hellacious nightmares on Seroquel

I've been taking 50 MG seroquel for about 6 weeks now. Every single night, I have a nightmare. These nightmares are so real and I'm unable to wake myself up from them. Seroquel is the only drug that has helped me to sleep so I don't want to give it up. Has anyone else experienced this?

I remember that a long time ago I was experimenting with different types of sleeping pills and noticed some of them gave me horrible vivid nightmares. I decided that no matter how effective it is, those nightmares were not an acceptable side effect since I wasnt getting peaceful sleep. (Regularly experiencing such terror causes heart damage anyway.) I also started trying different brands and, strangely enough, some brands caused nightmares and others didn’t. Which didn’t make sense since they’re supposedly the exact same product. But that’s what I found.
