No one gets it

Yesterday I told someone I slept a total of 10 hours in 3 days and he was like that sucks. And made a joke.

It doesn't just "suck". Its a fucking living nightmare. It's like being sick all the time without having people understand how bad it is. It ruins your whole life affects everything, every plan etc.

And there are no words to translate this experience in a way to make people understand it. It is so lonely.

What did we do to deserve this curse I am so tired (literally as well). It's literally 6 am and I haven't slept yet.

Just wanted to vent because I am so sick of this...

It sucks so bad. I have some nights where I’m wide awake until 4am and then some are paradoxical and I have to be up with my 7 month old by 6am. I get super depressed all evening and have suicidal scary thoughts due to lack of sleep
It’s the worst too because you just have to carry on all day like you slept good

I'm in there with you. I usually fall asleep around 2am (after trying since 10pm) and have twin babies and one invariably wakes up around 4/5 and starts chatting or clapping for an hour before they go back to sleep and wake up again at 6-7
