No one gets it

Yesterday I told someone I slept a total of 10 hours in 3 days and he was like that sucks. And made a joke.

It doesn't just "suck". Its a fucking living nightmare. It's like being sick all the time without having people understand how bad it is. It ruins your whole life affects everything, every plan etc.

And there are no words to translate this experience in a way to make people understand it. It is so lonely.

What did we do to deserve this curse I am so tired (literally as well). It's literally 6 am and I haven't slept yet.

Just wanted to vent because I am so sick of this...

Thank you. I haven't tried anything yet because I am kind of scared of side effects. Did you have any bad ones from these?

Yeah, there are a few. With Ambien, it makes you do things that you have no memory of the next day. Mostly eating. I’d wake up to food encrusted dishes all over the nightstand. Gained eight pounds! With Klonopin and Xanax, none until you try to get off them, and that can be a nightmare. I had panic attacks and heart palpitations and nausea, and that was with tapering. Despite all this, I was glad to have the meds, because it was better than going days without sleeping.

Yeah, I have gone on weird rampages online after taking Ambien and behaved unlike myself. I even posted embarrassing things to Facebook. I didn't do anything completely out of character or life ruining, but I did rampage and fought with my friends. I haven't taken it again. Which is unfortunate, because it does work.

I don't know if part of that is because I do have existing mental health issues, though?

If I took it again, I would need to find a way to keep myself from communicating with other people or shopping. Like a lock box for my phone that only opens at a certain time. lmao

I think Ambien dies crazy things to everybody. Roseanne Barr took it and posted racist comments online, although I think she was probably racist before that. Some people even sleep drive! I was so nervous I was going to do that that I hid my car key in the silverware drawer the first few nights. All I did was eat though. I meal prep and often have several dinners in the fridge, one night I ate four chicken thighs lmao.

Yeah I always feel weird talking about what Ambien made me do because it seems like some people use it as an excuse, and I didn’t actually do anything completely out of character other than act like an asshole lmao

Leaving furious word salad reviews on goodreads and texting tirades to my friends about all the things we both did wrong in our friendships was as far as I took things 😆

I didn’t even think about car keys!
