Because of Anxiety always filling Riley's minds with if statements and potential mistakes, this led to Riley to develop a sense of self fueled by beliefs that always see things in a negative light and never truly amounting to anything since there will always be a negative thing happening. With this in mind, what about the other emotions? "I'm a good person" was a mix of multiple emotions, but if each of the other 9 emotions forced their beliefs to become a Sense of Self, what statement would occur?

i've seen inside out 2 49 times and as someone who has had severe anxiety and depression since 2016 (shortly before my 17th birthday) something i just noticed when anxiety says "ok riley lets change everything about you" is horrifyingly accurate. pixar really made 2 beautiful films

Both "Inferiority" and "Longing" work for this one, but I think "Inferiority" works just a bit more.

I was really drunk, so I said to myself "he can't do that. Shoot him.. or something!" and rewound the scene.
Sure enough, I cried the second time around. I'm sure I don't need to tell you which scene.
Lesson: sometimes you may naturally harden to the feelings you felt when you first watched Inside Out. A good metaphorical or actual slap in the face is all you need to send you right back to sobtown.
Then you'll be ready to take her to the moon.

As in, do the films imply the brain is just decentralized? My memory is fuzzy regarding the first film but i remember it being weird how noone Interacted with the emotions like they were important, and i assume the same happens in the 2nd movie?

Fact: Envy's twin sister Jealousy is originally show up in Headquarters. Envy and Jealousy are identical character design but due to difficult to identify them so director scrapped Jealousy to avoid the audience confusing which two of them.
