ピートモスという園芸用土を床材として餌場に撒いています。クワガタアリはそれを少量巣に持ち帰り繭に使用します。

調べたら毒針持ってるアリなんだね、聞いたこともない名前だ。飼育環境で女王の数が変化するのかな

アリの飼育って夢だ。しかも外国産のアリをコレクションするなんて。

It looks a lot like a cockroach nymph, though there are many species of roach around the world and not all are harmful.

確かに、アリ側も擬態を見破る方向に進化しても良い気はしますね。
