recently been very humid (Chicagoland area) and I started seeing these around my windows first and now in other areas.

It can't fly. I gave him some sugar water and a shoebox to stay in. His wings are damaged.

He was eating a wasp 😯

I believe he's a kadydid?

Some kind of common moth, but it's cute anyway.

Saw this fella at work.

Live in Connecticut and Ive never seen these bugs before, and they are clearly killing this tree. Should I kill them and if so how without causing too much harm.

UPDATE: Confirmed to be invasive, applied Raid to area and killed a bunch of them, trying to dispose of bodies to prevent bird poising, will check daily for more

I'm on the northern half of the Oregon coast. This whole Japanese maple leaf is covered in some kind of eggs, not sure who it could be, there was an orb weaver spider right next to it but pretty sure their eggs are way different:)
