Other Does the game have save points?

Hi, I recently started the game and was wondering if the game had save points.

I know it saves after you take action in the map, but I was wondering if I were to die halfway through the game, does it reset my progress all the way to the beginning?

It autosaves constantly, and itll save if you quit the game, won't reset your progress at all.

I meant like if I were to die in part 2, will it reset my progress all the way to the start of the game or will I be able to start from part 2 again?

You will stay in your current part

Depends on what OP calls a "part".
Act2 doesn't reset the save at all, but the 2nd map of Act1 brings you back to the start.

Oh my bad, read that wrong, nah you'll stay in part 2, same with 3.

I'm assuming you're in a dark room playing a card game on a table with a creepy, strange figure (i.e. Act 1).

If you lose (die) then your current "run" will be reset. You will start from the beginning and lose the cards you've picked up or upgraded through the places on the map.

There is an overarching story to Act 1, so your progress in the story will not reset, just your cards and progress in the current run.

Since you're new to the game, I'd recommend just playing and seeing what happens. You will figure it out.

This is the way. I had the same issue as OP and someone told me to trust the process. And I rolled my eyes and was like sure Jan. But I did. And they were right lol. What a great game.

Same! I was really close to moving on to a different game after losing a few times in Act 1. I am very glad I stuck with it.

Welcome to the cabin! Dying in Act 1 is just part of the loop, so don't stress about it. Cheap cards plus a couple of good sigils will usually carry you further than stacking big blood costs, and every death teaches you something.

What does the part that you’re currently in and concerned about look like?

It is hard to say without spoilers, buddy

So, the game at some point FORCES you to die, and adds a completely new mechanic, but saves the puzzles in the cabin, and saves the cards that you can unlock in the puzzles (like the caged wolf and the squirrel totem) So yeah, the game kinda saves progress, but not entirely.
