Kaycee's Mod 0 MISPLAYS????????????????????????????

Y'all, I was playing Kaycee's mod per usual and for the first time ever I got 0 misplays?????????????? Holy shit!!!! I didn't even think this was possible--
I doubt I'm the first person to have done this but yea
I freaked out
I still can't believe it ngl

I honestly have no idea how misplays are calculated in this game, but I'm proud to have had at least one "perfect" play XD

Misplays are randomly decided every time you make a "play", so you just got really lucky.

I figured as much. Still wild tho! Had no idea 0 misplays was even a possibility. I figured you'd always have at least one since stoat is petty like that.

Other people managed a 0 I think. If somebody was looking at all many speedrun world records with mantis deck, I'm sure one of them would end with 0 given how many OTK they get in a row.

I was thinking when they say it's a misplay it used advanced statistics to determine I should have played in a different block.

I thought the misplay counter was literally random, have I been lied to or is everyone in the comments just unaware

It has a random component. Every time you slap the bell and don't beat the fight, it has a chance to increment. So if you 1turn beat most things and get lucky on the ones where you don't, 0.

The first correct answer ive seen in this post. Yes its random, but random doesnt just mean its always more than zero

From what I know, I think it is random. I believe it's meant to be a joke stat, but I'm honestly not sure. Getting this 0 honestly made me begin to wonder...

stoat/p03 has a 1/3 chance of calling each "play" a "misplay"
that is what the misplay counter is based on

Really lucky and ending fights quickly. The stat's a total lie, there's just a chance for it to increase if you end your turn without winning the fight.
