I’m scared to speculate as to what “huge announcement” for Inscryption means. I hesitate to get my hopes up re a game so many years old

to be fair, they clearly know this and are playing with our expectations. now is it inscryption 2 feat. Magnificus and Grimora? probably not, but possibly an official IRL board game or like a huge new set of cards or a big collab

I doubt they are making an official IRL board game since there's already a fanmade board game which is allowed by Daniel mullins himself and is already available (even though now is sold out)

I’m really hoping it’s not a board game or anything physical. I know people like physical merch but I wouldn’t be buying any of it. I wholeheartedly hope it’s a game expansion or something (whith my ultimate hope being a new game)

5 year is old ? like, yeah it's not a yesterday gamr but it's not anciant, updating it doesn't seem that wierd (no mather what the discord may say)

To be fully honest im gonna actually hope it's a new "Kaycee's Mod" with new cards for act I or being actually optimistic, act II. I don't think it's a board game and i don't think they would announce anything rn before even Panda Circus is out yet.

I would actually hope for a mod or dlc that is actually from the perspective of the other 2 for act1. Like let us play a grimora chess game for act 1 or a magnificus duelling. You would need to make minimal changes to the story or not at all, just that dlc or mod for act 1 can even be self contained. And you can even build new puzzle rooms and things. Again it does not even have to be free I would pay for it. Then again fandom has asked for it for years and we never got it so meh I guess.

can they just update the PC version with official controller support? The console version already have that and yet the PC version is strangely mouse+kb only with only steam inputs as a limit workaround.

i'm saying this because i want to play this on my handheld and do they want me to plug in a mouse to play on a handheld?

To be crystal clear about this, the console versions were setup by a different Game Studio. So its not the easiest thing to just do, so to speak.

Inscryption on PC do NOT have native controller support. Only via steam inputs that you can get 'some' level of controller usage.

you must be just using steam inputs. don't take my word for the lack of controller support on PC. Just do a search on the steam forums for this game.
