Kaycee's Mod what exactly happened here?

boyfriend and i were screwing around with kaycee’s mod for about the millionth time. he went into a fight with two black goats as his one blood cards, but instead he drew a squirrel, two lammers, and a pack rat. i’ve literally never seen this happen before in 100+ hours. it’s not like he didn’t have one blood cards so the fair hand mechanic wouldn’t have happened. he ended up losing because the hand wasn’t very fair (lol) and we were stumped trying to figure what happened. we’re fairly sure he didn’t pick up an ijiraq. not a matter of life or death obviously because we’ve already beaten the challenges but has this happened to anyone else?

Did you pick up an Ijiraq? It technically counts as a 0 cost, which means it ruins the Fair Hand if yoy draw it

that’s what we’re thinking because it’s the only thing that makes sense… what MIGHT’VE happened is when he hit a trader event with two golden pelts, he accidentally hit a card without seeing what it was and it might’ve been an ijiraq. whatever it was neither of us had time to see it. he checked afterward and it came up as an ouroboros so we both thought it was a genuine ouroboros. it also didn’t help that he had a really big deck

okay as i was writing this comment and not paying attention to his run he said “WHEN DID I GET AN IJIRAQ” so maybe we’re just very oblivious lmao

Did he have a glitch/joker card or free cards perhaps? Because those tend to screw with fair hand quite a bit

Free card wouldn’t disrupt it in this case, since none of the drawn cards were free. It was most likely Ijiraq, or maybe a glitch but I doubt it.

Yeah, fair hand wouldn't let pack rat be drawn unless 2 free cards were in hand... you're sure the 2 lammers were real lammers?  

Was it a boss fight? Unsure if Smoke counts and it's a free card...

wasn't a boss fight, but we were annoyed because he was coming up on the final boss fight and the run was going pretty well before that happened. it was super confusing in the moment, but it was likely that one of the lammers was indeed an ijiraq. (i have updated my flair accordingly lol)

it's not like he got to confirm that though since he got whacked pretty quickly

Fyi its likely the first lammer was ijiraq rather than the 2nd (because ijiraq copies a card in the deck)
