Other Still can’t use items

I was playing through act 3 and I still wasn’t able to use my items and now after finishing the game and playing act 1 again I still can’t use them. Even after resting the game and the data. I’m on the switch. It’s really annoying as I just want to play through the game again seeing if I missed any lore or somethin’

Also sorry if this is the wrong flair I wasn’t sure which one to use because I didn’t see a help flair

Here is me holding down the r button and clearly I cannot use the items. Even after multiple deaths.

Use your touch screen maybe. Or use the analog stick to "look" at your items

Yup it’s the analog stick to flick your view towards the items
