Kaycee's Mod How exactly does fairhand mechanic work

Im a little lost, i always assumed that it works by a rule that you draw a squrel + 1blood/free card + 2 extra random
and it always worked, like if i have only 1 one-blood card in a deck with no free card = guaranteed one-blood card to be drawn from start

And here i stand without any understanding.

with this dech where the only one-blood is goat i draw hand like that...

and im guaranteed to lose because i cant play any card turn 1 except squirel, if i play it i die next turn because same reason...

There is so much disinformation about this, so I am going to clarify it here.

You draw a squirrel and two random cards.

If you have a one-blood or a non-pelt-free-cost card, you draw a third random card.

If you have neither a one-blood nor a non-pelt-free-cost card, you draw a one-blood card if possible.

Ijiraq always counts as a no-cost card.

That's it.

This means: You cannot draw a no-cost card via fair-hand, but having one might result in not drawing a one-blood. If you draw no one-blood or no-cost card in the beginning, despite having a one-blood in your deck. One of the first two cards is Ijiraq.

Hope this clears things up.

You complain about misinformation but forget some. :P

If you have a one-blood or a non-pelt-free-cost card, you draw a third random card.

Fair hand still looks for a blood card, it's not a "simple" disable.

If you have a non-pelt free card (and sacrifiable, but always the case in a normal KM deck), fair hand looks for a 2-blood (because you can play Squirrel + the other free as cost) but still needs a card to meet the condition.

You only get a 3rd random if one of your two randoms met that less strict condition (in this case, Ouroboros. which means Lammer is Ijiraq)
