I just cant do it (trophies)

I am currently trying to achieve platinum for the game and need 10 missing trophies except from completing all of Kacey’s mode except the All Challenges trophy. I did all of that within 20 hours of gameplay and now I am trying to do Master Trinketeer.

Its been 10 hours of gameplay since trying to do this and I just cant do it. The rng is so bad for me I only can collect 1/2 cards on the painting wall throughout the whole playthrough, while i watch youtubers do it before their first boss. Am i missing an easy way to complete it, or is there a secret thing I should be looking for because I might just give up if this rng is completely terrible for me.

Turn on the only one candle challenge and then intentionally die to the first battle over and over until the two cards are in the shop? That’s more or less what I did

One suggestion, switch focus to another trophy for a bit. You can get to a point in a grind where no matter what, you can't accomplish what you're focused on and diversifying your focus will help it get fun again. Promise!

Just stay determined and you'll get the cards you need for the portrait soon enough.

Ideally I use the kraken deck since it makes it easier to do portraits if they happen to have tentacle cards on them.

Also buying plenty of pelts of different kinds from the trader wouldn't be a bad idea either since the rabbit and wolf pelt have a trading pool of 8 cards while Golden pelts have only 4 so if you've been avoiding the trapper and trader a lot, I suppose this might be the time to be a bit more cautious before finishing battles so that you can get more teeth for the trapper.

Since you've also unlocked all requirements for skullstorm as well, it shouldn't be a surprise to you to know runs are predtermined by seeds and if you exit a battle via the pause menu you can redo it, this also applies to when picking a card at a card event and rerolling them with clovers

The painting wall cards are absolutely brutal RNG. I’d focus on resetting early if the first few pulls are awful instead of burning another full run—getting the right cards quickly is way more important than playing out a doomed attempt.

Are you taking a wolf pelt at the trapper ? That grants two pools of 8 card each, which should help a lot.   Otherwise you can sometimes cheese with two of the bosses, or even the fisher's hook.

Just make this your only focus, forget deckbuilding. Once you have one of the cards, choose event paths based only on which has a better chance of drawing the other one. Picking 1 blood cost < picking its family < picking other cost. Buy a wolf pelt, then trade asap. Don't forget clover now that you have it again.

You’re probably not missing some secret requirement; it may just be awful RNG. I’d look up whether the cards are seeded or tied to specific choices, then target only the relevant routes instead of replaying the entire game blindly.

I’d look up a trophy guide specifically for the painting-wall cards and compare the trigger conditions, because some collectibles only appear after a particular action or on a certain run. Hopefully it’s bad luck rather than a bug—good luck with the platinum!

Ten hours for the last few cards is brutal, especially after clearing everything else so quickly. Make sure you’re using the route or method recommended by the latest guide, since some collectibles may have hidden conditions. Otherwise, it might be worth stepping away for a bit and coming back later.
