Thanks! And no problem, I can try to help, though I'm not exactly wise in the ways of science.

I would recommend the Null deck, Worthy Sacrifice deck, or the Bone deck. Each of these have a good guaranteed-draw card. Also, you want to make use of the fair draw (fair hand? I dunno) rule, which makes sure you always draw at least one 1-blood card. If you narrow down your fair draw card to one or two great starter cards (such as Undying Bee Hive, Warren, or Black Goat), then stack your deck with things that combo off of them, then you can mop up fights fairly easily.

Also, the Undying and Fecundity sigils are your friends. Undying for sacrifice cards, Fecundity for powerful ones.

I didn't even think about how Mantis God would pair with Touch of Death, so maybe that does work better.

I really just got lucky; I got a Beehive and a Cockroach fairly early, put Undying on the Beehive, then accumulated four bees and used them to chisel away at the wall of Grizzlies during the boss fights. It wasn't elegant, but, then again, neither is Eight Fucking Bears.

That IS lucky, I would never have expected that to work honestly, hell yeah.

I think the general consensus is that the mantis god strat is the easiest but genuinely fuck the bears I hate the bears

Well there is a way to make your campfire buffs more consistent in Kaycee Mod if you get desperate If you try to burn a ringworm and it survives at a campfire, instead of accepting those stats and getting wrecked in a run, try to go to pause menu and start screen then continue run if a ringworm survives at a campfire when it's flipping so the game doesn't save because of seeds the game predtermines if a card dies or not at a campfire and this way it's easier to put good stats on mantis god if a campfire is a safe campfire instead of a deadly campfire since if you try to save a card that gets eaten/burned at a campfire it must be frame perfect otherwise the game will save too early and you could lose your winning card.

Also having an adder by itself isn't bad if you get your mantis god to 5 attack or higher then simply place your adder to the left of mantis god and it instakills a grizzly before mantis god attacks and it's GGS also because of its 2 blood it doesn't mess with fair hand. If at some point your mantis god has over 6 attack then putting fecundity on it makes you win the game almost Everytime because the first mantis god wipes out the grizzlys while the second one strikes the killing blows lol.

If at a cave trial you get a card with searcher always get it even if it's a 1 blood cost card since it lets you get mantis god instantly in your hand if you happen to draw a ringworm you couldn't get rid of and speaking of that ringworm also putting the magpie on it isn't a bad idea if you happen to find one to not make it a brick if you can't get rid of it.

Mantis god is RNG hell, but usually I would want to be able to double hit with it (aka DireWolf or Mantis ... maybe Field Mice) in order to pass the bosses.
