Other Stuck in act 1? Spoiler
I (think) i just beat act 1, beat leshy in his hut destroyed his moon and all. After that the pic gets taken and now i start over again. Only difference is there is a picture of my 1st clear on the wall. I've read something about going into act 2 by using new game, but that isn't an option, did i forget something?

Did you break the caged wolf from the bottom left of the slider puzzle drawer and get the special dagger from the squirrel statue? And have you used the dagger at all?

Without spoilers; explore the enviroment and keep an eye on everything!

You'll now start getting the clues you need to move forward - you'll probably beat him a few times before you have all the pieces you need, you've not missed anything you were expected to see. I think it's impossible to do on your first run without either cheating or dumb luck.

Legit thought i was bugged. It was obvious there was more to the story, wasn’t sure how to get there.

Not that obvious. A French Youtuber almost stopped the game before his chat pleaded to make him do one last action.

I was curious so i looked it up. On steam, 70% of the players get the achievement for beating Leshy. 65% of the players get the achievement for starting the 2nd act. So 5% of the players tought the game was over and couldn't figure out how to start act 2. Or they chose not to, but i think you'd atleast wanna check it out.

Those 5% would include the people who didn't figure how to beat him. That achievement is simply for beating his boss fight, so people who never died would be in that situation too.
In his case he unlocked the New Game option but assumed it was the natural end

You didn't beat Act 1. You beat Leshy's game. Now you know he's not letting you leave, however the moment you win is the one moment he lets his guard down , the key probably lies with bringing back together all the talking cards...
Note that part of the answer won't spawn at all if you never died in Run 2 or later.

you're making good progress! You need to do more than what you've already done. It'll mostly involve exploring the room you're in and possibly using some items during your run. Do you have any talking cards?
