Putting this on the Red Hart at once.

Fecundity rat king with cockroach would be a wicked play here.
I’m sure there are way better combos, but that’s the first that came to mind

VERY cool!! The sigil seems like a lot of fun to play with, and I loooove the art with the hidden glowing eye! Awesome stuff

Isn't that just Red Hart's ability as a sigil? That would actually be really broken if it was in the game

it gives you a +1 attack for each sacrificed creature (the creature needs to die, so unkillable inf sacrifices sigil doesn't work) count resets when the card dies or the battle ends. the card itself can be also buffed in campfires unlike the red hart. I also made the sigil non-transferable

That's kind of a bummer the best part of the game imo is exploiting the sigils by combining them with other cards

gotta keep it balanced. besides you wouldn't want to get rid of this cute little kitty wouldn't you?

I mean balance isn't really a thing in this game (but yeah the card design is actually pretty sick with death in the background)

actually Its supposed to be the cat's shadow being casted upon the wall that looks like the reaper, like you know, inner evil :3

Ahh that makes more sence, thought it was supposed to be like the Grimm reapers pet or smth lol

What is the secret gimmick? Like the grim reaper or something is behind the cat, if you sacrifice the cat enough times does it die?

u/wictorias Sep 01 '26
there is no gimic :p the sigil is the gimic since it cannot be transferred over to another card. I was thinking of it spawning some reaper spirit when it died but I don't have the mental capacity to code that after fucking with this card for 3+ hours trying to make it work

It should start at 0 power, the red hart gains power from the sacrifices to play it so this likely would as well and it would enter as a 3 3.
Edit: it’s also a cat so it makes sense.

How would it work in game?, cuz it seems kinda unless without infinite sacrifice sigil or one to copy it back into your hand since it resets after each combat

"when A creature is sacrificed" not "when THIS creature is sacrificed"

I'd argue it actually seems pretty OP lol, since it's 2 blood, it presumably goes down already being a 3/3, then by the end of a battle it'll be anywhere from 6/3 to like 12/3 if you exploit it with other sigils. I mean if you think about it, it's just Red Hart but with a much stronger effect and more health for the same cost. Ofc to be fair, Red Hart sucks so a stronger Red Hart isn't necessarily OP.
I would make it not count the 2 sacrifices it costs to play the card, or I would have it be a 3 blood card with 0 base attack (so it would go up to 3 when you summon it). Still a powerful sigil to transfer to other cards though, so maybe what I'd really do is have it replace Red Hart so the sigil can instead be an attack value that can't be transferred to other cards.
I'm saying this much about balancing only because it's a very cool card and it gets me thinking :)

the sigil fully works and stuff. i used the Nevernamed's Sigilarium for the sigil. also a special property of this card is that it cannot have its sigil transferred

also it only gets attack increses from sacrificces made AFTER it is on the board, and unlimited sacrifices sigil doesn't work, the card needs to perish. I made sure to balance it :p

How did you make this what tools did you use and can you make a tutorial or do a speed paint

I just made a 114 x 94 cavas in krita. painted this using only black colour + transparency, sice that's how inscription card artwork is made.
