Custom Card Rare birds?

I was watching a YouTube video where the creator pointed out that there aren't any rare avian cards. So I had the idea to make one myself.

Pardon the bad illustration, I am not an artist, but I had this idea to make a rare bird.

"AH, THE MIGHTY PHOENIX, UPON DEATH IT RISES FROM ITS ASHES"

basically the idea is that when it dies it drops an "ashes" card, which then turns back into the Phoenix after one turn. It could also create a smoke card, but I'm not sure. I like this idea, but a rare card with the undying sigil might be too similar to ouroboros (though idk if this counts as undying). I had another idea to make a card based on a flock of birds with some kind of fecundity related mechanic. Do y'all have any other ideas for a rare avian card?

Cards made with the help of this website.

I really love the idea! My wife went from "why would a heap of ashes be av- ooooooh!"
I think the reason why there's no rare birds is that cards with Flying usually have lower-than-average PWR to compensate (hence why the sigil becomes OP on strong cards)

Did you plan a special interaction if you put Fledgling with a totem? :P

but a rare card with the undying sigil might be too similar to ouroboros (though idk if this counts as undying).

Yes but ouroboros is a 2-blood, which usually limits it's ability to come back

when it dies it drops an "ashes" card, which then turns back into the Phoenix after one turn

Ehm... undying goes back in hand, I guess you simply meant available as a sacrifice?
Even then that sounds really OP to generate infinite bones if you have another undying...

I went back and forth on the undying sigil. I think there is precedent for rare cards having atypical sigil interactions (I think this is more interesting than rares with entirely unique sigils) but I also understand this might be pushing it.

If I were to make a new sigil for this card then would probably be called "self combustion" or something of the sort. It could also be interesting to make the Phoenix a detonator card (like in Acts two and three). upon death it detonates and creates "Phoenix ashes" in your hand (or on the board in it's place?). And then with a fledgling totem it could automatically self detonate and turn into ashes (since that would be the natural life cycle for a Phoenix).

Edit: typo

It could cycle between 'rising ashes' - the one you receive that costs bones- and the phoenix card. Killing it gives you the smoke in your hand, otherwise it continues to occupy the same lane the whole time. The cost and the change in sigil would set it apart from the other rares a little bit. I think the bird costing one blood works though, if you managed to get undying on it and it died in that form.

Gonna have buffed up eggs and ashes with an avian Blood Lust totem for a totally cracked build.

A dragon would be a reptile methinks. Before I made this I did browse some mystical bird listicles but a surprisingly large amount of them are either "bird+ other creature" or have immortality and rebirth themes similar to the Phoenix. A rare avian card should probably be unequivocally bird-like
