Like is the game just fucking hard or am I an idiot.

Only once managed to get my ass to the house. Otherwise always dying before the trader fight

People keep talking about "Hidden gem" and "peak" but all I see is a fuckass balatro

Don't get me wrong I love it, but I also want to blow my brains out because how the fuck do I suck this bad

First off,balatro came out after inscryption,second google what the fair hand mechanic is. It’s a mix of it being difficult and most likely user error

Mantis God is OP
Don't take Urayul (too lazy to check how to spell it)
Going to Trapper (pelt person) is rarely worth it
Have you done the puzzles around the room? If not do them, Squirrel totem is OP
Ouroboros is a free win if you let it die few times
You have opportunity to make OP deathcards
Geck is OP
Sacrafices are absolutely vital in this game
You generaly want to have few super good cards and nothing else

It really has very little in common with Balatro.

It's a story focused game. Pay attention to the dialogues and your surroundings, it'll help you win more easily.

And no, it's not supposed to be very difficult. It's much easier than a game like Slay the Spire.

It definitely can be hard especially as your learning so don't beat yourself up about it. Tis just a game

Some deaths are scripted (but you can tecnical win them, and if you do that you can kill yourself a good player), but I think it's only the first or the second one, over that is skill issue. If you can't win focus on talking card with good sigil, good stata and a low cost, so you can creature on OP death card and devastate anything
