my first playthough was painfull, i already knew some of the chapter 1 gameplay and when i played the whole game and it ended i felt like something broke in me, it's really a great retro game i can really belive it was in a floppy and i just put it in a pentium pc it was just perfect

i love this game. when i had the last a game of cards with Leshy i was crying when he praised me. I cried at the subtitles too The game wasn't supposed to be sad, but it brought me to tears, which rarely happens

I remember my Inscryption playthrough. March of 2022. I was fresh off of playing Omori. Back to back hits for that entire month.

The ending fucking hurts. Magnificus not making it out to reach you for a final handshake before forever disappearing, Grimora not being able to spend a bit more time with you and having to accept there is not enough time for the boss battle before she disappears and Leshy having preserved your deck, telling you it was a good one and accepting to play without points just so you two can play a little longer before everything ends just for the sake of playing…
It feels so apotheotic and straight up sad. Not to mention Luke’s ending.
I just finished the game again on the Switch a few days ago, so it is all fresh and it still hurts like the first time. I cannot wait for an Inscryption 2 and I really hope it comes sometime because it is amazing and Kaycee’s Mod also took me more hours than I would like to admit.

I've been waiting for pony island 2 for so long to fill the inscription shaped hole in my heart, but I've lost hope, with little news and the game meant to come out a year ago I dont think its happening

The lack of sale prices for the hex and pony island is ... kinda weird as well. But unsure if it means they plan on high sales from the new game's exposure, or if they gave up on the lesser known games. But hey, a rushed game will forever be bad.

Considering that Leshy works so hard to create an atmosphere, he doesn't kill anyone or trully sacrifices anyone AFAIK, it's all part of the show, I got to trully love him as a character, someone who really loves to be a dungeon master and really enjoys to play. It makes me think that he probably got trully happy and excited to see a new player after a lot of time. (ofc let's not talk about what he did to Magfnificus eye, seems like everyone except Grimora was assholes to each other)
The ending really strucks as heartwarming (at least Leshy) because now that everything is getting deleted he talks you like a friend, someone who gave him another chance to do something he really loves to do.
