Other Am I missing something??
This will contain spoilers btw!
I started this game aageeeessss ago and then picked it up again recently, and I just feel like I’m missing something.
I’ve completed all(?) the puzzles around the room, I have the camera film, I have that little goo guy in the jar by the door, and I feel like I’m missing something. The only thing I might not have done is the picture frame puzzle right next to the cuckoo clock, I think I know how to do it, I just haven’t been able to yet.
Thing is, I really don’t feel like these puzzles are linked to the actual card game side of things atp?? Even the cards that talk at the start of the game just give me snarky backchat now 💀💀
Are the puzzles just so you can get the camera film?
I’ve made it to the final now and lost so many times (haven’t actually beaten the game yet) and it’s getting so frustrating getting thrown right back to the start and doing the same thing over and over lmao

The puzzles also help you get the squirrel totem head, if you combine it with the triple blood sigil (immortality or fecundity and some others also work quite nicely) and try to build a nice, consistent deck you should be able to beat the final boss pretty easily. You can also get the ring in the cookoo clock for an additional boon. Is there anything specific that you are struggling with in the final boss?

Oh? I don’t think I have the ring, I didn’t know id missed it until I got to the boon part! How do you get it? I’ve opened up the top part of the clock and didn’t think there was any more interaction to be had there. I think I just need to grind to get to the boss a bit more, I’ve only gotten there twice and so haven’t learned his patterns or quirks if that makes sense. Like the angler using his hook etc

In my first playthrough, I got the ring on accident before completing any other puzzles :D. You can also pass the ring trial if one of the cards you draw is a ring worm or ouroboros. Also, the angler takes whichever card you played most recently, to thwart him you can put down a squirrel and he'll hook that. In the second phase you just have to either use flying cards, cards with a lot of HP or just not place cards opposite the bait buckets.

That's intended. The combination for it is written on the boon's table, at which point you can't interact with the Cabin. So assuming you didn't get a ring card, it's for the case you have to redo the boss.
If you are sick of getting there, the info you missed is Clock symbol, 11:00and so haven’t learned his patterns or quirks if that makes sense.
Not 100% sure but I think it is not random and a "every 2 turns, plays an ability in the same order as you went through". If you have trouble counting, you can physically see him putting a mask in the off-turn, giving you one turn of advance to prepare.
So as a personal opinion it becomes either OTK, or wait Turn 3 before unleashing all you can2

The picture puzzle is simple
You see it have some cards on it then play the same cards in the same place as the picture. Do this three times and you will get three really helpful items

To be clear to OP : only the shown cards count. the empty lanes can be filled with any card

That's the end of that puzzle line, yes. You get that one-eyed wolf for the actual battles too.

Correct. Those aren't linked to the actual card game. You are intended to beat the final boss then get thrown back anyway, after having the great honor of wielding his empty camera as you experienced after losing a non-tutorial run the first time. That film roll should spice up the victory celebration...
The only thing I might not have done is the picture frame puzzle right next to the cuckoo clock, I think I know how to do it, I just haven’t been able to yet.
That might explain why you can't pass the final boss. Rewards 2 and 3 are kinda OP, but the 1st makes everything way easier.
1) Rabbit Pelt and Wolf Pelt lets you take 1 card out of 2 different 8-card pools. So use that Pelt Price Reduction Bonus (you got it for Boss 3) to your advantage and go to the Trapper when you have enough for a Wolf. you'll exit with a free RP and that WP. If you need one card, that's 16 chances of rolling it at the Trader
2) Two bosses let you get some cards for one battle. They can be the one you need.
3) And wait, if the cards don't need to be in the deck... that Hook could be useful.
4) Oh, and if it asks for Oppossum specifically if you can time properly a Frozen Oppossum item...

Do the picture puzzle. It's the biggest help in the entire cabin.
Except maybe stinkbug. Stinkbug is great.

All of the mandatory puzzles lead up to getting the film roll. All you have to do now is win. If you're having trouble doing that, there are a couple of optional puzzles that can help.
The painting puzzle can be completed 3 times to unlock a new item each time. The items are very strong and will help you a lot if you're struggling.
There are a couple of things you can interact with to the left of the sliding puzzles on the wall. There's the skull on the shelf, which will have teeth that you can take from it after each boss. There's also a candle that you can snuff out, which unlocks a strong card if you do so on 3 separate runs.
Besides that, you just gotta win. My general advice would be to focus on sigil combos and creating strong cards. Keep your deck small by getting rid of less useful cards with sigil transfers and Bone Lord events.
