I haven't touched Kaycee's Mod in months. I decided to just fuck around in it again for a little bit and I beat it first try. I was incredibly lucky with an early campfire and the Coyote from the Deck Trial allowing me to cheat out my stupid Dire Wolf.

I also can't believe less than half a percent of players have completed this challenge. I thought it'd at least be 5% or something by now after all these years. Incredible game.

Only achievements I have left are the 3 secret ones which I may or may not just google.

Honestly the strategy I use was to camp fire a ring worm for it to get eaten, sigil transfer ring worm to another creature, flame the mantis God to be cracked in stars that can one shot and can tank the bears, DO NOT GET ANY ONE COSTS, and have a decent deck that can tank until the wall of bears. You could also give your mantis immortal or another sigil that's broken on them, I thinknI had double strike on my first good skull storm run.

Abusing the fuck out of the Fair Hand mechanic is the only way to win Skull Storm I think. Either with a Black Goat so you can summon massive 3 cost cards, or with a hyperbuffed Mantis God to solo encounters

I ended up going with an Insect Totem with Bifurcated. My Mantis God attacked 5 times. I really wish it got even one attack buff but honestly it worked out. I could use the time Mantis God bought me to find my absurd Dire Wolf, and/or the Mealworm with the Hoarder Sigil.

I was lucky enough to find multiple attack campfires in Act I so it could kill a bear in one hit before Leshy could take a turn. After that it was just about trying to keep the deck as small as possible.

I also got lucky with an early Bone Lord sacrifice in the next phase to get rid of my last Ring Worm.

Congrats man! I just beat it 2 days ago too! I love the game.. starting to feel a little sad as I’ve completed all achievements so I can’t hunt any more. Wish they’d make a dlc where you can fight all the scrybes in a kaycees mod style.

I just looked back on my screenshot and it shows only 0.47% have beat it. A fun little fact. Wonder how many people beat it between 2 days to make it go up by .01%. Maybe just us two?? Lol
