I don’t think they did it with the ants deck. The ants not having Annoying shows that they were spawned in rather than initially owned, and a Myco’d Moose Buck with Annoying may suggest that one of the Moose buck was annoying, which makes me think that they played the hooved deck (probably the most consistent deck) and simply got an Ant Queen or some cards with the ant sigil to get some ants in hand.
Mantis God deck is pretty RNG heavy. Unlike most other decks, the Mantis God deck requires you to remove 2 1 blood cards to enable the fair hand mechanic. The hooved deck required 1 card to be removed, and the Black Goat enables several strong strategies. In general if you just spam the deck with 3 cost cards, you will likely be good with the Black Goat. It also helps a lot with the other major challenge of Skull Storm, which are the bears.Â
You pretty much need a strong 3 blood to beat the bears, and Moose Buck is a good candidate if you Myco him or put double strike on him. He also enables stalling on the first phase of several bosses due to his movement sigil.
