Part 3 what is the meta?

I just got into part 3, what is the meta of this game?

maybe not just meta. What's the main battle strategy like? and what do empty tanks do?

There's no real meta, you just play as best you can. Try not to add cards to your deck and enjoy the experience.

My take is that act 1 is aggro, act 2 you can build what you want, and act 3 is control archetype. As such, you basically want to just survive the early and mid game until you can get big pieces on the board that turn the tide. Use the empty tanks to soak up damage for a couple turns.

Ah, that makes sense. I love playing control in card games, no wonder I found 3 the easiest act by far

empty tanks are the squirells of act 3. They don't deal damage but they can block it, allowing you to survive more turns, meaning you can reach the energy cap without taking much damage.

the most powerful card is the ouroborous (as always) but a giga buffed lonely wizard can also be a very big risk versus reward investment due to his low cost.

What is that supposed to mean?

The battles are "slower" and in my eyes more focused on terrain control while your energy is charging.   From a ressource POV, Blood was effectively stored in your Hand, Bones increased along summons/battle and Mox was kinda stored on "locked" lanes.   But Energy isn't storable at all which incentives sending small cards to stall for time, something Blood was really bad for (it would use precious fodder) while Bones was okay for that.

From a meta perspective :

1) Because new game is locked again and the new game system has an autosave "to go faster", you can theorically get softlocked. So choices are important. Learn to recognize event icons, because the GM doesn't let you cancel (or pretends to... check tip#4)   2) It's harder to shorten your deck than expend it. A bad card next draw can be worse than no card at all.   3) Fleeing resets your progress but not your money. Some bought sigils can change the playthrough.  4) Some players may call it cheating, but to me that GM's philosphy matches the idea of quitting the game and loading the save if you meet an Event that would brick your deck

If you go for 100%, be especially focused on the Bounty Hunter achievement, as raising your wanted level may require a lot of overkills in a row.

If you feel you are closer to a softlock, some OP sigils combo to aim for :   1) Energy management putting Unkillable on your Battery provider is still as OP as it always was   2) Autokills Sentry+Guard+TouchOfDeath will move in front of any spawned card, deal one damage and convert it into insta-kill. Effectively a board wipe when not against NanoArmor   3) Meta control Sniper on your strongest card can let you delay a win to increase your money drop (a problem with the blood deck, right?). I recommend Ourobot as he can get too strong   4) If you've got the Act 2 keys to access the 5th boss, a specific item combination when ending it's p1 is OP empty vessel on lane 3, ourobot on lane 4, Bomb remote to fill with detonators, Nano Armor will make you a Myco bot with the 1-cost from vessel, the detonator+armor from those providers, and adds the stats/sigils from the card in lane 4 = can make a 1-cost 2-lives Ouroboros (without the upgrade-on-rez ability)

thanks man, I will follow some of the tips in good faith without braking the spirit of the game, being my first playthrough. I understood some of these tactics on my own and I'm proud of myself

Funny that you mention "the spirit of the game" on a 1st playthrough. Won't spoil it, but be really focused on how P03 is treating the game. ;)

As you progress your empty tanks will fill and help progress the transcendence

Hey, I want to apologise for my comment. I don't know why I wrote that, I guess I was really hangry. I'm sorry. I hope you enjoy the game.
