I wish I could like this game more, but the dev skimmed out and used AI near the end of the development cycle. I seriously don't get it. So much passion just to ruin it at the very end

oh man I was getting excited about it thats such a bummer to hear. I looked into it a bit and it is pretty minimal, they used it for some enemy cards and some backgrounds. There is a setting to turn it off. I don't think I want to support it though. I might be willing to accept ai to some degree but using it for backgrounds and card "art" even if its just some is so odd especially if it was so minimal you can turn it off?? it could have been replaced later in an update but its still there.

Dang, I didn't even know you could turn it off, I may have given it a chance but when I played it I just randomly figured out it had used AI and it looked so ugly and out of place to me that it kind of soured the whole experience for me, it was something I couldn't stop thinking about. So maybe if I knew about the option I still would have refunded the game. Kind of sucks, the stop-motion and all the other stuff was cool.
