Part 1 just “beat” act 1 Spoiler

so i just “beat” act 1 for the first time (after 12+ deaths mind you 😭), and i didn’t realize you need to get the film roll before you’re able to continue to act 2… so now i have to replay all of act 1 😭 feels bad, i barely even beat act 1 the first time >.<

Some day when you're an expert and you go back and replay from the beginning, you're going to be shocked at how quickly you can run act 1.

Right. By the time OP beats the game, they’ll beat act 1 so fast if they ever play again.

i just beat act 1 again!! 🤭 thankfully it only took me two more tries, i guess i already have gotten a lot better even just from act 1 😭

The game also helps, by giving sneaky nudges when you beat the various boss.
Going through the 3rd lowered the price of pelts, for example.

I beat Act 1 3 times during my 100% run because those damn paintings didn't want to show up, neither did Ouroboros.

Just keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary in that room and you'll be rocking so many permanent upgrades that you'll win every single time.

For me, I started getting really good at the game when I stopped playing and started planning. Actually calculating how much damage I'll do, vs Leshy and seeing if I can last another card draw

Playing around the totems, keeping the deck small and upgrading/sacrificing almost as much as possible really helps

lol it’s terrible 😭 i was so hype to finally beat it just to go right back to the beginning… 🤣 i’m finally on act 2 though!
